I have always struggled with finding middle ground between knowing when to ask for help. I’m a very independent person, asking for help does not come naturally too me. I was wondering if you had any suggestion on how to develop this skill?
Honestly just trail and error. I used to be pretty slow about asking for help myself until shit hit the fan in my life and I really needed others to rely on. The next couple months I was conscious about how quick I was about asking for help. In the beginning when I had lots to deal with it was almost always helpful to ask for help, but as I got things sorted out I noticed when talks did little for me and when I actually needed someone or when I just needed time on my own. In time you’ll get to know what you can deal with, and what you need help with.
